Piper PA-46TP Meridian Charter

Description

The Piper PA-46-500TP Meridian is a turboprop introduced by Piper in 1997, based on the highly successful Piper PA-46 Malibu. The aircraft has a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine, and a cabin which can seat up to 5 passengers comfortably.

The PA-46 has a pressurized cabin, which is unusual for single-engine aircraft, this allows the aircraft to fly at higher cruising altitudes (up to 30.000 feet).

Piper released various variants of the PA-46, these include:

  • Malibu
  • Malibu Mirage
  • Malibu Meridian
  • M-Class (M350, M500 and M600)
  • Matrix
  • jetPROP

The Piper Meridian is ideal for short charter hops, especially into airports with short runways.
